State Bank of India Positive Pay System Registration via Internet Banking
Submitting Cheque key details through SBI internet banking is very simple and easy over other methods like sending SMS, branch. If you have SBI YONO application, it also can be used to submit details.
Submit SBI Cheque Details (Positive Pay) through SBI Internet Banking
Follow these steps to submit SBI positive pay details with online banking –
Step 1: Logon to official website of State Bank of India – www.onlinesbi.com
Step 2: Click on Personal Banking – Login and Continue to Login.
Step 3: Enter your USER NAME, PASSWORD and CAPTCHA and Click Login Button.
Step 4: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and Click Submit.
Step 5: Click “Request and Enquiries” Tab as shown in image.
Step 6: Click “Cheque Book Services” as shown in screenshot
Step 7: Select “Positive Pay System”
Step 7: Select “Cheque Lodgement” Tab & Enter Cheque Key Details – Account No. , Cheque No., Instrument Type, Cheque Amount, Payee/Beneficiary Name, Cheque Date.
Step 8: Accept the “Terms and Conditions” and click on “Submit” button.
Activate Positive Pay System for All Cheques using SBI Internet Banking
If you want to activate Positive Pay System for all cheques then you can do it by registering for Positive Pay System using SBI Net Banking.
Step 1: Under Positive Pay System, Click on “Registration Tab” as shown in screenshot.
Step 2: Select Account No and option – All Cheques or Cheque beyond Prescribed Limit
Step 3: Select “All Cheque” – if you want to submit key details for every cheque you issue irrespective of amount else specify limit.
Step 4: Accept the T&C and Click Submit.
Step 5: You will get confirmation message displayed as shown in screenshot.
Submit SBI Cheque Positive Pay Details with SBI YONO App
Step 1: Download YONO mobile banking app on your mobile
Step 2: Enter your MPIN to login into your account.
Step 3: Click on “Service Request” under Quick Links and Select “Cheques” from the service request menu.
Step 4: Click on “Positive Pay System” and Select “Make a Request”.
Step 5: Enter the key details – Cheque Date, Cheque No., Cheque Amount,Beneficiary/Payee Name and Instrument Type.
Step 6: Click on Next and Submit.
