There are various modes to submit details like through SMS, internet banking, mobile banking or visiting branch. But submitting cheque details via Canara Bank Internet Banking is very easy and simple. You can do it just at few clicks sitting at home.
Just follow these steps –
Step 1: Logon to official website of Canara Bank – www.canarabank.com
Step 2: Click on Login Tab –> Net Banking – Canara
Step 3: Enter your USER ID, PASSWORD and CAPTCHA and Click on “SIGN IN” Button.
Step 4: Click on “Services” option on top navigation bar.
Step 5: Click on “Positive Pay System” option available on left side of the page.
Step 6: Select “Cheque Register”option to fill key details of cheque.
Step 7: Fill the Cheque information – Select Account No.(in case of multiple accounts), Cheque Number, Amount, Payee Name, Cheque Date, MICR Code (available on bottom of issued cheque)
Step 8: Click on Submit button after filling all the details.
Step 9: Cross check the details with issued cheque and click on “confirm”.
Step 10: Enter “Transaction Password”. Note down the URN number generated upon successful submission for future reference.
You can also check the status of your cheque submitted for positive pay system by clicking on Cheque Status Option under “Positive Pay System” option.
