Canara mobile banking lets its customers to check their account balance, download statement, fund transfer, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, Cheque Book Request, Stop Cheque payment and many services at one place.
Often we get annoyed when we forget our mobile banking Passcode/ MPIN. Don’t worry here we will guide you to easily reset Canara Bank Mobile Banking Passcode / MPIN.
What is difference between Passcode and MPIN?
Before proceeding, it is necessary to understand the difference between Passcode and MPIN.
- Passcode is 5 digits numeric password to login to the Canara Bank Mobile Banking application. This is used to log in to the application.
- MPIN is 6 digits numeric secret PIN used at the time of financial/non-financial transactions.
How to Reset Canara Bank Mobile Banking Passcode
Your mobile number must be registered in saving account to reset your passcode.
Step 1 – Open Canara Bank mobile banking application.
Step 2 – Click on “Forgot Passcode” link on Login Screen.
Step 3 – An “OTP” will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 4 – Enter the “OTP” to validate the request and enter the application.
Step 5 – You will be given an option to create passcode and re-enter passcode for confirmation.
Step 6 – A message will be displayed “Your Passcode Reset Successfully”.

How to reset Canara Bank Mobile Banking MPIN
If you forgot Canara mobile banking PIN – follow these steps to reset –
Note : Keep your debit card credential ready to reset MPIN.
Step 1 – Login to Mobile Banking Application using your Passcode.
Step 2 – Click on “Profile” in Footer Section in Home Screen.
Step 3 – Click on “Forgot MPIN” under Security Tab, it will display a message “Are You Sure ….for resetting MPIN”, click on “continue”.
Step 4 – On next screen, set “six digits numeric MPIN” and confirm.
Step 5 – It will display a message “MPIN SET SUCCESSFULLY”, Now you need to enter debit card details for validation of account. Choose “Set Now”.
Step 6 – Enter your debit card details and activate the account.
