Hi Guys, don’t know how to apply online for IIBF ordinary membership and apply for JAIIB / CAIIB exam ? Then this article is for you. As you already know why passing JAIIB CAIIB is important for bankers for promotion, increment , knowledge for bankers. There may be different reason for bankers to pass these two flagship courses – JAIIB (Junior Associate of IIB&F) and CAIIB (Certified Associate of IIB&F). Here in this article we will discuss on IIBF Membership, what is the eligibility criteria for membership, application fees, application form etc.

Different Classes of IIBF Membership – Eligibility Criteria, Fees :

First of all you should be aware about that there are different classes of IIBF Membership which are discusses as under.

IIBF Ordinary Membership

Eligibility : It is open for employees of recognized banking establishments both in nationalized as well as private sector including RBI, SBI, Other recognized financial institutions both central and state , co-operative banks and any other institutions in India who are institution members of the Institute as may be approved by the council from time to time.

Application Fees : There is one time life membership fee need to be paid for ordinary membership : ₹1770/- (Membership Fee : ₹1500/- plus GST : ₹270/-) for applicants from India. For Overseas applicants, the fee is US $150.

How to apply online for IIBF ordinary membership for JAIIB CAIIB 

Step 1 : Interested and eligible candidates must logon to IIBF Website : www.iibf.org.in for ordinary membership.

Step 2 : Click on Apply Now > Membership .

Step 3 : A new window will open up. Read “Instruction to Applicants”. Click on “Ordinary Membership Registration”.

Step 4 : A Online Application form will open which you need to fill very carefully because correction may not be possible later. You need to keep ready with you SCANNED PHOTOGRAPH, SCANNED SIGNATURE and ID PROOF issued by EMPLOYER (with your photo and sign), debit/credit card or net banking for fee payment.

Don’t Worry .. if you are newly recruited employees then you upload a declaration form in the format as prescribed by IIBF and same should be attested by Br. Manager / HOD of the Dept. where you are working. DECLARATION FORM-> Click here to download the Declaration Form

Please note that only employees who are in regular service is eligible for Ordinary Membership of the Institute.  If the declaration form uploaded is incomplete and  not in the prescribed format your application will be rejected.

(ID proof  should be clear / readable and verifiable after uploading, if not application is liable to be rejected)

Step 5 : Payment – After filling up the application form, Click on preview and proceed for payment. You can use debit/credit card or net banking for making payment.

You are done with IIBF ordinary membership registration. You will get an SMS/ email with your membership number (Login ID) and password using which you can login to your membership account and apply for JAIIB CAIIB. You will get your Permanent Membership ID card by post at your address given in application form.

Associate Members

Eligibility : To become an associate member of the Institute , applicant should –

  • Have passed the CAIIB examination and be a life member of the institute
  • Be in senior Management position of Chief Manager in PSU Banks / Financial Institutions or its equivalent and above.
  • Submit application form duly recommended by HR head of the Bank.

Application Fees : Commuted Associate Membership fee with GST ₹3,540/- (Membership Fee : ₹3000/- plus GST ₹540/-)

Fellow Members

Eligibility : To become a fellow member , an applicant should –

  • Have passed CAIIB Exam and be a life member of the institute
  • Have completed minimum of 2 years as an Associate member
  • Be in the position of DGM in PSU Banks / Financial Institutions or its equivalent and above.
  • Submit his/her application duly approved by the CMD or Chief Executive of the bank /financial institution.

Application fee – commuted fellow membership fee with GST : ₹7080/- (fellow membership fee : ₹6,000/- and GST: ₹1080/-)

Institutional Members

Election of Institutional members is governed by the provision of Article 8A or the Articles of Association, reproduced below.

Eligibility Criteria : Institutional Members consist of banking establishments both in the nationalized as well as private sector including the Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India, other financial institutions, both Central and State, Co-operative Banks and any other institutions as may be approved by the Council.

Membership Fees : Fee/Subscription will be payable Annually at the rates determined by the Council from time to time.
